The Community Foundation of Hazard and Perry County has the capacity to make funds available to nonprofit organizations, schools and coalitions of organizations and institutions to conduct conferences, summits or events that are aligned with its mission and focus areas. In 2011, each such sponsorship may not exceed $500. These requests are considered throughout the year at each regular board meeting.
The Community Foundation of Hazard & Perry County awards grants to non-profit organizations once each year. Grant applications must be received by specified deadline for funding that typically begins in January of the following year. Grant applications are reviewed and evaluated by the Foundation’s board of directors for approval. Organizations approved for funding will be advised of the outcome during December of each year.
